Healthcare Carpets – installation of Impervious carpets from the Equinox range

Danfloor’s range of specialist Healthcare carpets come in a variety of colours and designs. With outstanding performance characteristics, the healthcare carpet range is compatible with underfloor heating and accompanied by comprehensive warranties. The Equinox collection combines a number of different carpet ranges to form the Healthcare flooring collection.

The Equinox range is approved for use in dementia inclusive environments by Stirling Universities Dementia Services Development Centre, and offers a modern carpet range which is subtle in design and vibrant in colour.

Manufactured using the Prism® fibre Equinox is a cut pile, solution dyed carpet that offers exceptional performance, superior styling and a comprehensive warranty, making it a must for any healthcare interior.

The Equinox collection also includes Bi-Ome® an antimicrobial yarn treatment which kills the micro-organisms when they come into contact with the fibre. Bi-Ome® doesn’t lose strength over time and creates an environment which microorganisms can’t adapt to. Bi-Ome® gets to work as soon as bacteria makes contact with the carpet fibre and offers a 4-Log reduction of 99.99% in harmful bacteria, even those that cause MRSA.

Equinox is available in danfloor’s innovative Aqua bac impervious backing which not only provides a line of defence against sub floor contamination but is designed to also offer extra comfort, thermal insulation and sound absorption.

Evolution is a stunning range of patterned carpets, incorporating highly designed carpets and subtle ranges within one collection. The Economix Collection, with its tonal colour palette can be used alongside the Evolution Collection to create a variety of flooring design techniques.

Both collections are manufactured using Aquafil’s ECONYL® nylon yarn, and are solution dyed cut pile ranges that offer the ultimate in performance. Certified as class 33 heavy-commercial use, these ranges provide added reassurance that they will perform in the most demanding environments.
