Roller, Roman Blinds, Vertical Blinds, Venetian, Pleated & Wooden Blinds

Roller Blinds - Spring Operated Roller Blinds

Jantex offers totally unique, custom made roller blinds designed to enhance the style of your home. Everything is complete down to the last detail, so that decorative finishes, tassels and control chain blend with the fabric itself.

Spring operated roller blinds are simple and elegant, operated by an acorn pull or decorative tassel fitted to the bottom of the blind, or alternatively a finger bar located in the bottom pocket. The wide range of tassels made from materials as diverse as brushed steel and mahogany give you the opportunity to personalise your blind in your own individual way.

An adjustable and durable spring mechanism ensures that a Jantex roller blind always operates smoothly and precisely.

Roman Blinds - Chain or Cord Operated Roman Blinds

By choosing a roman blind with a chain control, you will avoid untidy cords trailing on the window sill. The bead chain is supplied in a colour that co-ordinates with your chosen fabric, and you decide whether the chain is positioned on the right or the left hand side.

You can choose to have your blind controlled by means of a continuous loop cord, which hangs neatly at the back of the blind in total harmony with the fabric. By simply pulling the cord you can position the blind precisely in the selected position, and it is up to you whether the cord is supplied on the right or left hand side of the blind. The right-hand picture below is an example of a cord operated roman blind.

The Traditional Style Roman Blind, centre picture above, incorporates sewn-in horizontal rods to give the fabric more defined folds. They are also supplied with a small pelmet.

You can also have a Soft Fold Roman Blind, one that draws up into gentle folds, without the use of horizontal rods which are designed to drape in a soft natural panel. Jantex soft fold blinds are unlined and are especially suitable for the many lovely sheer fabrics to give a natural diffused light effect.

Both Jantex Traditional Style Roman Blinds and Soft Fold Roman Blinds can be lined and / or have borders.

Vertical Blinds - Decorative & Practical Vertical Blinds

Like a light with a dimmer switch, with vertical blinds you can control the intensity of daylight in the room to suit your mood. A perfect, modern solution for large window areas providing decorative and discreet solar shading. Another advantage is that vertical blinds help to reduce heat build-up from the sun, and effectively keep the neighbour's glances out.

Jantex vertical blinds can be used in most window constructions, including bay, arched and triangular, as well as openings with a sloping top or bottom edge. Vertical blinds are extremely versatile, and more than suitable for use as room dividers where, for example, a large room is to be converted into two smaller areas.

For houses and offices with interesting window sections and large areas of glazing Jantex vertical blinds are the perfect answer. No matter whether the window is arched or triangular at the top, we can supply a vertical blind to suit your needs, or the window may be curved as in the picture above right.

Jantex can supply vertical blind with motorised tracks, so that you can operate the blind by remote control. If you have several vertical blinds, you can operate them individually, in groups or all at the same time. In this way the louvres are tilted to the same angle in all your window openings.

Venetian Blinds

Jantex have an amazing range of venetian blinds - perforated, patterned, glossy, matt, suede or wood effect and two-tone slats in over 200 varieties. Jantex venetian blinds are available in four slat widths:

• 25 mm, the standard most popular width
• 16 mm, a narrow slat very suitable for small windows and between glazing
• 35 mm, with extra width for a sophisticated look
• 50 mm, the original size - still very elegant and particularly suitable for larger window areas

Venetian blinds have achieved their popularity by being perhaps the most effective form of solar shading. Our impressive collection of venetian blinds can be tailormade to any specially shaped window.

Softline Venetian Blinds are colour coordinated, so that cords and ladderbraids, tassels, knobs and control chain blend perfectly with the slats. For rooms with high humidity Jantex have a special model with head and bottom rail, as well as the slats, all in aluminium, to avoid the possibility of rust.

All blinds are fitted with our patented crash-proof cord lock, which holds the slats securely and precisely in the required position when the blind is raised or lowered.

Jantex venetian blinds with 16, 25 and 35 mm slats are also available with electric operation, controlled by means of a low voltage motor fitted in the head rail. With the remote control you can raise and lower the blind as well as tilting the slats to the required angle. By programming the remote control you can set the venetian blind in your favourite position with a single press on the key pad.

Pleated and Wooden Blinds

Jantex also have available a range of Pleated Blinds. The crisply pleated fabrics with neat 20 mm pleats take up the minimum of space when the blind is pulled up, and so these blinds are an obvious choice for small windows with a narrow sill, and those where there is restricted room. They can be fitted in side hung, top hung, dormer and rooflight windows and there are models with guide wires for windows on an incline.

Our Wooden Blinds combine the efficiency of horizontal louvre blinds with the natural beauty of wood. They are ideal for those who prefer to have a completely traditional blind, or wish to co-ordinate the window dressing with their furniture and woodwork. Faber wood venetian blinds are made of real wood, from timber that comes from sustainable wood sources, and are stained in a variety of colours to give you just the perfect match to your furnishing scheme. Choice of 25 or 50 mm louvre widths with fully co-ordinated ladderbraid, cords and tassels.
